Pandora mobile app found to be sending birth date, gender and location information to ad servers

According to Engadget, an independent security firm has started investigating Pandora and other companies and their privacy issues. According to Veracode, Pandora shares a lot of information about its members to third parties. They have discovered that the Pandora Android application “appears” to be sending information about the people who use it.

The information that will be sent would be its birth date, gender, Android ID, GPS location and this information gets sent to different advertising companies. This is quite bad for peoples privacy and so when asked Pandora refused to comment at this current time. If you want more information about this private investigation then check it out here.
