A full text / notepad editing application for Android

There aren’t really any full text editing applications on Android. When I say full text editing,  I mean creating massively long text documents. If you were looking for one then XDA member crandf has you covered. He has called the application Need To Write and it has the following features.

  • Edit mode with unlimited files size and tracking system to resume reading or editing progress.
  • Text to Speech.
  • EditText view with inertia.
  • Toggleable word wrap.
  • Specify End-Of-Line chars for saving files.
  • GoTo, Search, Replace, Undo, Redo.
  • Tons of encoding options from ISO, windows 125_, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
  • Customisable thmes.
  • Share files or specific lines of selected text via email, bluetooth.
  • File List (works like Bookshelf/Task_List/Recent_files system).

If you are interested in this application then you can get it from the Android Market. There are two versions of the application and one of them is free and the other is paid and so I would check out the free version first.
